2006/07 Development Squads

Green Squad

Eligibilty Critera:

• 9-14yrs on 30th September, 2007
• Have participated at WASA Summer meets during 2006/07 season
• Non State/Metropolitan Qualifier

They will attend three training sessions at Warringah Aquatic Centre: 9/9, 16/9 and 23/9. between 4:30pm and 6:00pm

They will attend the Swimming NSW Development Meet at SOPAC on the 30/9/07.

Each swimmer will receive a District T-Shirt, District Swimming Cap, admission to WAC for training sessions, and carnival entries to the SNSW Development Meet.

Registrations close: 31st August, 2007

Cost: $40

Bronze (C) Squad

Eligibility Criteria:

• 10-12 years
• Have partipated at WASA Summer meets during 2006/07 season
• NSW State/Metropolitan Qualifier

They will attend a two day Team Building session at the Life Adventure Centre Kurrajong, leaving the WAC at 7am on 3/11/07 and returning in the afternoon 4/11/07

Activities include: Flying Fox, Giant Swing, Low Ropes, Training session in pool

Registrations close: 19th October, 2007

Cost: $75

Silver (B) Squad

Eligibility Criteria:

• 13-16 years and 16+ swimmers who do not qualify for QLD State Championships
• Have partipated at WASA Summer meets during 2006/07 season
• NSW State Qualifier

They will attend a two day Team Building session at the Life Adventure Centre Kurrajong, leaving the WAC at 7am on 3/11/07 and returning in the afternoon 4/11/07

Activities include: Flying Fox, Giant Swing, Low Ropes, Training session in pool

Cost: $75

Gold (A) Squad

Eligibility Criteria:

• Have participated at WASA Summer Championship meets during 2006/07 season
• National Age, National Open and 16+ swimmers who qualify for QLD LC Meet
• Have qualifying times for QLD LC Meet

They will attend a 4 day (19/10-22/10) interstate trip to compete in the 2006 Zoggs Queensland LC Meet, attend Gold Coast Theme Park (eg Wet & Wild, Sea World, etc), Training Session at Brisbane Aquatic Centre

Cost: $150 (includes meals, accomodation, air fares, transport, carnival entry fees)
